Alex and I love to snowboard and ski, respectively. So we are very excited for future family vacations to the mountains. We are hoping to share this love with our boys and want to expose them to this sport early. It can be a lot of work, cold and maybe scary for littles so we are taking the slow, multiple exposure route to get them into it. We took August to Park City when he was 11 months old and we just returned home from Jude’s first ski trip to Breckenridge at 14 months old.

We stayed at an airbnb in Denver for a couple nights before heading to the mountains and did some exploring with the boys. They loved the aquarium, and children’s museum and we got to see some friends that live in Denver.

We met up with my parents in Breckenridge and had a great few days exploring the town. We hiked to see the troll sculpture, went on an amazing mountain-side sleigh ride, rode the gondola and went skiing of course. Augie wasn’t super into snowboarding, but he loved sledding on the hill outside our hotel.

On our way back out of Denver we took the boys to Meow Wolf, which was wild, but very entertaining for the kids. All in all it was a great ski trip with two littles (the extra grandparent hands helped a lot in this regard).
